As soon as the patches contain no obvious mistakes any more, I'll submit them to the GNU maintainers for binutils, gcc and gdb. However as far as I can see, using a patched binutils with an unpatched gcc will result in trouble and vice versa, so I think the patches should be somehow ``complete'' before integration into the main stream. I consider putting the project on http://forge.novell.com so several developers could join their forces with cvs.
The project could develop all its potential when all efforts in collecting pre-compiled libraries like zlib, libpng, libtiff, gtk, wxWindows and others could be collected to a library comparable to http://www.cygwin.com/ for windows, http://www.apt-get.org/ for linux, http://www.sunfreeware.com/ for solaris and fink for MacOS X. However I myself will not do that for free.
Novell supports this project by giving useful informations where needed, but not with money.
