Printing helpfiles is a cumbersome topic. The control-codes must usually be removed with effort manually. Graphics have to be inserted manually, a content- and index-list have to be generated manually and so on.

Our solution for this is called Help to RTF: you generate your help files as you did, compilate them and finally translate the compilated files with Help to RTF, which creates a professional manual out of them. With the redistributable version of Help to RTF that action can even be performed on the machine of the user running your (shareware) program.
Online Publishing of Help files is usually done by converting them to HTML. A better solution is our free winhelpcgi program doing on the fly conversion of .hlp files on the web server so they can be read with any normal browser.
